After a Snow Fall..!

Guys around shook their shoulders 'What the heck? This is not the winter we used to!'. Yeah, the day was so dull. It was cloudy and the sun peaked on us for a few minutes during the day. There was no trace of the 11" fall in December 05. I started doubting the 'claims' about the New England weather made by my colleague. In CNN they asked "Where is winter?".

On a saturday, which was a sunny one in the morning, Weather Channel announced about an approaching storm in MA which would touch on Sunday. Well, forecasts keep changing - I didn't take it seriously.

It started off by Saturday midnight. It was a bit windy - seemed like the Mother Nature decided to clear all the 'backlog' - poured through out Sunday.

Nobody was on the road. The NYorkers were earlier exclaiming about the "mildest winter in the history", had to keep their mouths shut with a 26" snow - but they came out on streets with their snow boards and were all over the place.

Kids were hesitating to go out fearing the freezing wind - but was only for a couple of hours - they went out, rolled all over the place on the 'white lawn' and came back with their pale faces.

Well, it's Monday now, with the weather at the forties, I don't know if the white-bed is going to last for few more days!

Nature calls the shots!
